The Trinidad and Tobago Group of Professional Associations (TTGPA), in collaboration with Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industry (TTCSI) hosted their first Annual Breakfast with Professionals on Wednesday 26th June, at the Century Ballroom, Queen’s Park Cricket Club.
This inaugural breakfast was an opportunity to have Pre-Budget Conversations with Feature Speaker, Senator the Honourable Larry Howai, Minister of Finance and the Economy. Presiding over this event were TTGPA’s President, Eng. Richard Saunders and TTCSI Secretary, Mahindra Satram-Maharaj. Breakfast was served at 7:00 am, and the formal part of the meeting was called to a start by Master of Ceremonies, Eng. Hollis Charles, TTGPA Past President and Council Member and TTCSI Vice President. Minister of Finance and the Economy Larry Howai delivered an informative speech and shared his enthusiasm to be involved in a forum of necessary and rewarding conversations with the professional community.
Following this Address was a succinct ‘Conversations Segment’ between the Minister and attendees. Due to a previous engagement, Mr. Howai made an early departure. Moderator Ms. Stacy-Ann Golding, Audit Partner at KPMG, steered an active and beneficial discussion for the remainder of the program on issues coming out of the Pre-Budget Address.
The professional community was represented by senior personnel in the banking, insurance, accounting, legal, planning, business, non-governmental, engineering, transport, protective services and agricultural industries.
