6th ANNUAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DAY 2017
The Trinidad and Tobago Group of Professional Services Limited (TTGPA) in collaboration with the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus, the University of the West Indies Alumni Association T & T Chapter, the Member of Parliament for D’Abadie/O’Meara, Brigadier General (Ret’d.) Ancil W. Antoine, the Member of Parliament for Toco/Sangre, the Eastern Regional Health Authority (ERHA) and the North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA), hosted the 6th Annual Professional Services Day on Saturday 25th March 2017 at the North Eastern Community Centre Sangre Grande and Saturday 8th April 2017 at the Arima New Government Primary School, from 9am to 3pm.
All professionals who are members of TTGPA were invited to volunteer their services to the Sangre Grande and Arima communities free of charge. Our organisation saw this as an opportunity for professionals to give back to the nation by assisting in various areas from the Medical Field to Career Guidance Services. This annual event forms part of TTGPA’s Corporate Social Responsibility and demonstrates volunteerism in the professional community.
Services such as basic screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, individual private doctor examinations and consultations, Immunizations, Cancer screening (breast and pap smear), Dental and Vision screening, HIV testing & counselling and Psychologists services were accessible to all attendees. The Career Guidance and consultancy consisted of services from the U.W.I Faculty of Law, Facility Registration and Professional Advisory from member organisations.
